Farmhouse pallet board, spray paint sign

Who loves a good farmhouse sign? I know that I do! My friend taught me how to make this sign and I am so excited to share it with you. If you like doing projects chances are you have all the supplies to do this project and you get to do some up-cycling in the process. IF you don't do many projects these supplies are so simple to get!

Watch my tutorial HERE or below.

Here are the basic steps in case you are like me and need them written down after you watch a video.

- Get pallet wood 3-4 planks depending on your preference
- Cut them to all be equal length or leave then all different for more character!
- Nail and wood glue then together with a thin wood stick on the back.
- Do a touch of sanding.
- Stain one side with a medium- dark stain, let dry.
- Spray paint over stain, don't worry about it being uneven, let dry.
- Place vinyl stencil (purchase from store, friend, or make yourself)
- Paint letters by dabbing brush to minimize bleeding under stencil. to help prevent bleeding you can use modge podge to seal the stencil before you paint. This will help or use paint the same color as the spray paint you used. let paint dry.
- Remove vinyl and place sign in desired location.

That is it and it is a great project to do with friends!
